Dance Policies and Tuition 

Dance Monthly Tuition Schedule 

There is a $35 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration. Tuition at Macie's School of Dance is divided into monthly payments. The monthly fee will remain the same from September to May regardless of holidays or weeks in a given month. There will a fifth class some months to take care of the holidays. Families receive a 10 % discount on their 2nd child's tuition. If you choose to pay the entire year's tuition in full, you will receive a 10 % discount. This offer is valid until October 1st, 2024. Tuition is due the first day of each month. If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, there will be a late charge of $10 that will be added to your account. The studio accepts cash, checks or we will charge your credit card monthly for payment of tuition. In order to pay your tuition with your credit card, you must be enrolled in our monthly auto payment plan. If you choose to pay with cash or check, please put it in the payment box located in the front lobby. There is a $15.00 fee for returned checks or declined charges. Tuition is non-refundable. All accounts must be paid in full by May 10th, 2025 or your child will not be allowed to participate in the annual recital.

Dance Monthly Tuition Schedule

1 hour class: $70 a month

2 classes per week: $115 a month

3 classes per week: $150 a month

4 classes per week: $170 a month  

Recital/Costume Fees

Macie’s School of Dance will participate in a recital at Durant High School. There is a recital fee due that will help cover the cost of the theatre rental, lighting, security, backstage crew, backdrops, props, production fees, etc. If you choose to participate in the recital, the recital fee will be $80 per family and it will be due the week of February 1st- 7th. The recital fee will include 4 tickets to the recital. Additional tickets will be $10.00 and may be purchased closer to the date of the event. Tickets sold at the door will be $15.00. There will also be a costume fee for the recital. Child size costumes are $75 each and adult size costumes are $85 each. The costume fee will be due the week of November 1st- 7th. There will be a $10.00 late fee added if costume fee is received after November 10th. Costume fees are non-refundable once the order has been placed. 

Make-up classes

If students miss their scheduled class, they may make up that class by attending another lower or higher level dance class. Refunds are not given for missed classes. Also, please let the studio know when and what day you will be attending a

make-up class. 

 Withdrawal Policy

Macie's School of Dance requires a 30-day notice if your student(s) will be withdrawing from classes. You are still financially responsible during that 30-day period. Please fill out a withdrawal form at the front desk. Failure to notify the studio of a dancer's withdrawal may result in an additional monthly charge. 

Studio News

Please pay attention to the bulletin board or your monthly email notices so you can stay up- to- date on our current events and happenings. Important information including dates of when the studio is open or closed will be emailed so please make sure you have your current email address on file.

Personal Items

Please make sure your child’s name is written on all of their personal items (shoes, dancewear, etc.) This will avoid any confusion when items are left in class.

Studio Etiquette 

• Please NO FOOD OR DRINK (except water bottles) in the studio. 

• NO STREET SHOES on the dance floor. Please help keep our studio floor clean and free from damage; remove street shoes before entering the dance floor. DO NOT WEAR your Ballet, Jazz, or Tap shoes OUTSIDE. It will damage your shoes.

• NO Chewing Gum anywhere in the studio. 

• Student cell phones should be turned off during class.

• Students should be dropped off and picked up promptly before and after class. Macie's School of Dance and Yoga is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. 

• Please keep noise level to a minimum while classes/rehearsals are in progress. Parents may watch classes through the window/door as long as it does not become disruptive to the class. 

• No jewelry, watches or earrings are allowed to be worn during class!!

• Long hair must be in a bun or similar style for all classes. (You will be asked to put your hair in a bun before allowed participation in your class)
